This is an increbidle look at the Philippines and Far East, signed and dated by the author, and lavishly illustrated throughout with in-text and full-page illustrations along with a color folding-map. The condition is excellent overall. Original publisher's grey cloth stamped on front and spine with title and topical images. Only slight rubbing to corners, block is square and straight. The gutters are split and the heavy text-block is straining the rear hinge especially, starting to pull away, but all intact. That is about the only flaw. Internally, there is a pleasant, light and even age-tone. No markings other than the signature of the author and the signature of the former owner on the front fly-leaf. Otherwise, basically a flawless example. Top edge gilt...nice book, signed by the author.
