Featured Books: This category is a collection of the best books from every category. The books in this category are extremely rare and in top condition. Furthermore, most books in this category are typically the only copy for sale world-wide, or one of only a few available world-wide.
Literature / Classics: This category contains rare editions of classic titles (e.g. Madame Bovary or Dracula). This category not only includes classic fiction but also includes landmark works from all categories. For example, Froissart's Chronicles, while also found in the history category, is a landmark (or classic) historical work; thus, it can also be found in the Literature and Classics category.
History & Exploration: This category includes all books dealing with history, travel, and/or exploration.
Religion & Spirituality: This category includes religious devotionals, Bibles, Biblical commentary, histories of religion, church publications, demonology, spiritualism, etc.
Illustrated Books: This category contains books that are known for, or are unique because of, their illustrations. Many of our books contain illustrations of one sort or another, and such books can be found in every category. For example, all of the art and art history books are filled with illustrations and plates, but they are not solely rare because of their numerous illustrations. Books in the Illustrated category typically contain illustrations by famous illustrators such as Pogany or Dulac, and they are often special illustrated editions or first illustrated editions.
