To pay for your selections by credit card, simply click on the "Buy Now" button. A new window will open for Paypal, our secure credit card processor. There is no need to be a Paypal member to pay us by credit card; however, the Paypal page will offer the option for payment by members, and then below, payment by non-members. At this time, please note that we may only ship to the address of the credit card holder, or the address which appears on your credit card or bank statement. Note that in some instances, if you purchase a book after business hours, the book may still be viewable in our inventory for up to 24 business hours; this is due to the fact that we must physically remove the listing from our inventory, and we do this when we receive notice of payment. So, if you purchase a book and see it is still in the inventory, please do not pay twice! In the highly unlikely circumstance that a book sells twice before we remove a listing, the earlier buyer receives the sale, and the later buyer will be refunded immediately. When we receive your payment, you will be notified by e-mail. Please keep the receipt for your Money Order. Also note that while we fully insure your purchase for shipping to most European countries and Australia, there are some countries to which we may not be able to ship to fully insured. Our listings, all with numerous "un-doctored" photos, are some of the most detailed and descriptive in the business! This is why, to date, we have never had any item returned for refund! But if we do make a mistake, be assured that we'll always make it right with our client!
We guarantee our listings to be accurate! This means that we gladly accept returns if you find there is a material fault in the description (such as a missing page, for example) -- shipping is also refunded. In the event of a subjective disagreement (for example, the degree of spotting, foxing, rubbing, staining, etc., present in most old books) we still accept returns and/or exchanges, but less our shipping costs. The terms Good, Very Good, etc., typically serve to describe the degrees imperfections found in antiquarian bookss. In short, old books can be assumed to show some signs of age. We offer numerous photos to reveal flaws, and we do our best to accurately and completely describe the flaws and condition of each book. If you simply change your mind about an item, we will be happy to give you a credit toward another book (of equal or greater value) in exchange. Few if any sellers offer their buyers such assurances and options!
We do not charge any "restocking fee" or anything of that nature. If you wish to return or exchange an item for refund, we only ask that you contact us within 3 days of the item's delivery. This allows the buyer time to examine the book, but not time to excessively handle the book and devalue it. Returned items must be post-marked within 4 days of initial receipt, must be received in the same condition they were sent, and must (for your protection) be insured in shipping.
