We are proud to offer this rare set from The Grove
estate and the library of former Florida Governor LeRoy Collins.  This is a great set with excellent provenance.  This important historical account contains 5 frontis portraits of the likes of Napoleon and others along with 55 plans (or maps).  The volumes really appear untouched, especially the period bindings.  Internally, there is heavy foxing toward the front and rear of text, moderate to light foxing through the remainder (common for paper from this period).   The 1/2 calf bindings feature marbled page ends and nice gilt to spines.  A very handsome set.

This is an excellent rare book and a rare opportunity to own a piece of The Grove and the former Governor's library.  A letter attesting to provenance is also included with this set, and we can also provide a copy of the original bill of sale upon the request of the buyer.  Please
