This is a great set, complete in all respects. Most impressive are the folding plates, especially the very large map of Hudson Bay. The text is very fresh and bright throughout. The bindings are period marbled sheep and are generally quite sound. There is some loss at the heads and tails of spine as well as corners. Internally, there are a few minor stub tears to the folding plates and some light offsetting. There is very little foxing in either volume and virtually no staining. A very nice set of this classic work.
