A very rare Gropper. The etching is laid inside the original folder and has never even been framed. Signed below the image on the right side, and numbered 83 of 100 on the left. The matting portion of the folder has flaws mostly in the form of some foxing on the right side and fading/toning a bit less toned underneath the title and limitation leaf. Overall condition of etching itself is great, though there is some very slight variation in tone from the exposed portion to the portion that has been covered by the matting. It will frame beautifully. The original tissue cover for the plate is also present, though it may not appear in the photos shown. The size of the paper is 22" by 18", the image size is 15" by 12.5".
