Signed, Original Water-Color by Peter Delfino. 18" by 14". Circa 1950.
This is an original water-color by Delfino. The painting was housed in a folder with a paper-board back and matting in front. The matting portion is badly soiled and torn. The only information we've found on this artist is stated on the back of the folder which states that Delifno is also Peter Verdi, or F. Frank and an "illustrator for Esquire and P.M." The condition is good but dusty on the back. It had been held in that folder with tape, so there is a strip of tape along the top edge on the back. There is very slight mat-markings at the top left corner (see photo, look very closely) but is extremely difficult to see. Tiny crease to lower left corner (just the very tip, very small). Otherwise it is very good and will frame very nicely.
